The bass Vladislav Solodyagin graduated from the State Conservatory in Saint Petersburg, where he studied singing with Prof. Georgy Seleznev. His first engagement lead him to the St. Petersburg Opera where he sang Gremin (Eugene Onegin), Pimen and Varlaam (Boris Godunov), Grand Inquisitor (Don Carlo) and Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor). He continued studying voice and acting in Germany with Prof. Josef Loibl and Kammersängerin Catarina Ligendza.

In 2008/09 he was a member of the international opera studio in Nuremberg. One season later he became a permanent ensemble member of the Nuremberg State Theatre, where he sang Sarastro (The Magic Flute), Abimelech (Samson and Delilah), Bonzo (Madama Butterfly), Angelotti (Tosca), Monterone (Rigoletto), Melchtal (Guillaume Tell), King (Aida) and Bartolo (The Barber of Seville). The premieres of "Moses and Pharaoh", "Samson and Delilah", "The Mastersingers of Nuremberg" and "Guillaume Tell" were broadcast on the Bavarian radio.

From 2012 to 2016 he was a member of the ensemble at the Theater Augsburg, where he sang important roles in the bass repertoire: Commendatore (Don Giovanni), Colline (La Bohème), Sparafucile (Rigoletto), Fiesco (Simon Boccanegra), Arkel (Pelleas and Melisande), Heinrich (Lohengrin), Doctor (Wozzeck), Banquo (Macbeth), Crespel (The Tales of Hoffmann) and Priest (Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk).

In 2016 he made his debut at the Stuttgart State Opera as Mayor in "Jenufa". Guest engagements lead him, amongst other engagements, to the Meiningen Court Theatre, the State Theatre of Cottbus, the Musiktheater im Revier (Gelsenkirchen), the Mainfranken Theatre Würzburg, the Municipal Theatre Nordhausen and the Ulm theatre.

He has been a member of the ensemble at the Halle Opera since the 2016/17 season.
