The Perth-born Australian mezzo-soprano graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA,) receiving an Advanced Diploma and a Post Graduate Diploma in Classical Singing.  During this time she performed Hermia in A Midsummer Nights? Dream, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible and  Mere Marie in Dialogues of the Carmelites.

In addition to her opera activities, Ms. Fenbury performed the alto solos in Bach's Mass in b minor, Mozart's  Requiem, Haydn's  St. Nicolas Mass  and Rachmaninov's Vespers at St George's Cathedral, Perth. 

As  a ?PEET? Young Artist with the West Australian Opera (2009 ? 2010),  she performed Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus, Lola in Cavallaria Rusticana, Mercedes in Carmen and Pitti-Sing in The Mikado.   She also performed Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro for Autonomous Productions.

Ms. Fenbury was a 2009 Finalist in the ?Australian Singing Competition?.  In 2011 she was a finalist in the ?Joan Sutherland Vocal Scholarship? and the ?Opera Awards? competition, winning a place in the Britten Pears Young Artists Program.  

In 2012, Ms. Fenbury toured NSW with Opera Australia's Ozopera Touring Company, performing Hansel in Hansel and Gretel.  Following this, as part of the ?Music and Opera Singers Trust? Prize, she performed the Newspaper Vendor at the English Aldeburgh Arts Festival in Poulenc's Les Mamelles de Tiresias.

Louise Fenbury was hand picked by Brigitte Fassbaender to participate in master classes with her as part of the Strauss Musik Festival in Garmisch Partenkirchen in 2014. Ms Fenbury has also participated in masterclasses with Lisa Gasteen and Yvonne Minton. She has now relocated to Germany to study with Elizabeth Whitehouse.

During her vocal studies in Perth, Ms. Fenbury graduated with two Bachelors, Law and Arts (English,) from Murdoch University, Western Australia.
